These guys did a fantastic job on our front lawn. Removed ALL of the weeds, laid the new sod - and trimmed it up very nicely along the beds and walkways! Very pleased. I had to find 2 sprinkler heads and need to dig out my water meter, but that's okay! 😂 I would definitely recommend them.After mowing a few times, there are many gaps, making mowing a time when I have to be careful not to turn my ankle and get injured. Will need to bring in some fill dirt. The grass does look great and those gaps will fill in eventually. Just check the install before they leave!

I was in the market initially for several pallets of St. Augustine sod. This was one of 5 or 6 local suppliers in Volusia County I contacted. I spoke directly to David, the owner. No other supplier would beat or match his price. I then read his Google reviews. As you can see they are all very positive. I can tell you that was my experience today as well.I picked up the sod I ordered this morning. All of the sod was excellent.Do your due diligence. Call this business first then call others. I doubt anyone will beat his price.I picked up the sod and laid it myself. I can't speak for his crew that lays the sod but according to those who used him, they were satisfied.FYI... if you pick up the sod he is not located at the address on the Google website (Angelas Road).

Great people, they get the job done. Had a full irrigation system installed at my house. Full coverage on a full acre, about 55 sprinkler heads in total. Came out perfect, and done correctly. Three Reasons New Smyrna Beach Lawns Fail - Two of Them Happen When Nobody's Looking

A lawn on an occupied property gives you warning signs for weeks. A lawn on an empty one gives you nothing until you pull into the driveway in November and it’s brown. Here’s what we check on a New Smyrna Beach property before quoting anything — and why two of the three are only ever caught by somebody physically walking the yard.

What actually moves a New Smyrna Beach lawn care quote?

A sprinkler zone failed and nobody was there to see it. This is the number one killer of second-home and rental lawns here, and it’s almost never diagnosed, because by the time anyone looks the only evidence is dead grass. A head knocked off by a mower, a cracked line, a controller that lost its schedule after a power cut. On fast-draining coastal sand, a zone down for two weeks in July is a lawn gone. We test every zone before quoting sod, because replacing grass without fixing the cause means replacing it again.

The wrong grass was sold for the exposure. Salt spray off the Atlantic and the Indian River Lagoon changes soil chemistry and burns standard sod — Bahia and generic St. Augustine won’t hold on an exposed beachside lot. Salt-tolerant St. Augustine cultivars will. Mainland properties a few miles west have completely different tolerance and get quoted differently. Anyone pricing your lawn without asking which side of the bridge you’re on is guessing.

The sand gave everything back before the roots got it. Coastal sand can drain water and fertiliser past the root zone within hours. Where somebody’s home, you compensate. On a property running unattended on a timer for eight months, you can’t — so the soil has to do the holding. That’s a build-the-ground job, and it’s the step most crews skip because it costs them a day.
